Tips For Brides
I know wedding planning is super overwhelming at times. That’s why I’ve taken the time to put together my top tips for my Brides to simplify and streamline your day.
Tip # 1
Hire a photographer that fits your style and personality. Get someone who builds a relationship with you and can aid in helping your day go smoothly. After all, you’re going to spend a ton of time with your photographer on your wedding day.
I personally feel super uncomfortable getting my picture taken if I don’t feel comfortable with the photographer. That ends up being very apparent in the photos, and that’s the case with most people.
Tip #2
Hire a planner or designate someone (an organized family member or close friend) to help plan and help the day of. I can’t stress this one enough. If you don’t get someone to direct the florist where the flowers go, and tell the cake person where the cake goes, and how to arrange last minute decor, all those questions will be going directly to YOU. Trust me, it’s a lot. I notice that this typically sends most brides into overdrive. Why not be able to truly enjoy your day and soak up every. single. minute. without worrying about the details? Your big day is absolutely going to fly by and I don’t want you to waste any of your precious time stressin!

Tip #3
Send me a list of family formals-by name. So much faster to say names, and go down the list, that way you don’t miss anyone important and neither do I! Also, make sure to communicate with your family start times!
Tip #4
Plan your timeline with your photog! I always meet with my brides a month or so before the wedding to go over what I recommend for the package they purchase. I give a loose idea of what each package will cover, what we should do when, etc. etc. Usually this timeline is flexible and has time built in if for some reason something gets off track, if people need a break or whatever. Also, girl you better eat the day of and drink yo dang water, most weddings are a marathon and you need to enjoy the day to the fullest!

I am absolutely going to do everything in my power to make your day go as smoothly and stress free as possible. I have decorated cakes, cleaned and steamed dresses, set up changing stations, fixed dresses, and a million other things.
