How To Get Ready for Engagement Sessions

Are you nervous? Scared to feel awkward? Don’t know what to do with your hands?

Don’t worry sis, I got you! Once you’ve put a deposit down on your date, it’s time to get you on the schedule for your engagement session! This session is all about you and your fiance. You only get married once so let’s make the most of this session and go all in!

• Pick out a cute outfit!

  • I typically recommend two outfits for an engagement session. I really like when couples bring one formal, and one casual. Feel free to text me or, even better, let’s go shopping together!

• Schedule hair and makeup

  • Do a sister a favor and schedule hair and makeup. C’mon girl, you deserve it! It will make you feel so confident in front of the camera, I promise!

  • If you are thinking about wearing fake lashes for your wedding, but aren’t sure, now is a great time to do a trial run.

  • Depending on the artist, you might have a free hair and makeup trial included in your wedding package. Now it a great time to take advantage of that!

• Get yo nails done!

  • I’m a big fan of getting a mani/pedi before your session. Your hands will be in a lot of pictures showing off that bling bling ;)

• Clean your ring

  • Most jewelry places sell ring cleaner, or take it back to where you got it and ask if they would clean it!
